Thursday, January 12th, 2012Osmosis Pur Medical Skin Care is a product line developed by Ben Johnson, M.D. Included under this brand name are cleansers, moisturizers, peels and products for treatment of skin conditions, such as acne and Rosacea. According to Johnson, in an article for Belle Derme, the Osmosis line concentrates on maintaining a barrier and increasing blood flow to skin. Directions for product use will depend on what items you choose and the condition of your skin. Osmosis Pur Medical Skin Care offers products that will work well for daily skin care.
Step 1
Dispense a small amount of the Osmosis Cleanse to the tips of your fingers. Wash your face thoroughly by rubbing the cleaner over skin. Rinse with warm water to remove dirt and soap residue, then pat dry with a clean towel. Repeat process once or twice a day.
Step 2
Apply a moisturizer liberty to the clean skin. Osmosis offers two moisturizers in their line. Quench contains hyaluronic acid and will help firm the skin surface. Osmosis Shelter works to coat skin and contains a sunblock with SPF 29.
Step 3
Add an Osmosis eye cream to your skin care routine if eyes tend to be puffy. RefreshPM is for night-time use only and Refresh eye serum is for anytime use. Apply a small amount of the serum to fingertips or a cotton ball. Dab serum under eyes carefully and massage so spread the liquid. If serum gets into eyes, rinse immediately.
Step 4
Use a healing product for your skin type. For example, Osmosis Clarify is an acne serum that claims to control bacteria on the skin surface. In addition, Osmosis offers products for anti-aging and to treat Rosacea. The application will depend on which product you choose. Follow the instructions provided with the bottle.
Step 5
Go to a doctor for an Osmosis facial and peel. Osmosis offers a number of products for professional use by salons that will exfoliate skin and remove the outer layer to promote new skin growth.
