Something New Just for Body

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

Often times all of our skincare focus is put towards our face.  However, skin is the largest organ and it covers much more than just our face.

My clients, that workout are always telling me they get more breakouts on their chest and back. They ask, what can they use to prevent this?

Bion has come to the rescue and just launched, Naturally Clean - a great antibacterial light citrus scented wash that is ideal for body acne and post-exercise cleansing.  I am loving the results of this great new product and the fact that it is loaded with great ingredients.  For even greater results, followup with their new Naturally Moist Body Lotion - a deep hydrating lotion that forms a protective lipid barrier to hold moisture in.

This duo is a must have to care for and pamper your skin all over!!

Good Clean Love………..

almos nakedOk so I know what you are thinking?????? What does Love have to do with my skin???? Well as it turns out, it does matter.Well in the nether regions, sorta.

One of our clients , who turns out to be an Ob Gyn, turned us on to this product. She told us that Lot’s of women come to her and have yeast infections , she feels from using lubricants that contain glycerin and glycerin is sugar derived and  yeast thrives on sugar. So we should carry this product, called Good Clean Love for our female clients. It would be helpful for women. Plus she also tells us that there are Lot’s of chemicals in lubricants and they are just not good for the body. This stuff is clean and healthy. So yup there is an alternative , it’s natural, it’s clean, so go ahead, Love it up a little , won’t ya.

Heat and oily skin

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Although we’re really enjoying the hot summer weather, it does tend to make the skin get oilier. In these conditions, skin is usually happier when you’re using a foam cleanser. Yonka gel nettoyant is one of my favorites. Not all foam cleansers are eye friendly, but this one is. It foams and feels light, but still takes off that stubborn eye makeup, a nice combination.

If you wear a lot of sunscreen (and since it’s summertime, I sure hope you’re extra careful about applying sunscreen), just be mindful to exfoliate more often. If you haven’t tried it, Blinc Resurf.a.stic is a great choice. It’s super easy and does a great job sweeping off dead cells that can lead to clogged pores. I also love Bion Glycolic Cleanser for those folks who get super oily, like I do. It just gives a great clean feeling, without stripping the skin, plus the glycolic acid also helps rid the skin of dead cells too.

Awesome New Product

resur.a.sticI’m in love with the new resurf.a.stic.s they are really cool. First they are easy to use, second they are REALLY effective. You apply it like a deodorant then you wet your fingers and spread it all over the area (they make 4 types, for different body parts). Then you massage in a circular motion and rinse. Voila, very, very smooth skin. You are ready to proceed with other products. They will be so much more effective as you have exfoliated off all the dead cellular debris.

Yonka Paris Cleanser Lait Nettoyant.

This has been by far, over the years, my favorite. Why? Well, because when it comes to removing your make-up, it does it all! It’s gentle to the skin, but it removes eye make-up (even stubborn mascara) in one clean sweep and also lifts and washes away make-up, dirt, and secretions. So it does 2 in 1 and it smells lovely, too, making life easy. After all, isn’t that what it’s all about? No wonder make-up artists, celebrities, and aestheticians, like myself, covet this luxurious cleanser. Best of all, it’s suitable for all skin types. Once you’ve tried it, you’ll be happy to know you can share the joy with all your friends.

Bion for acne

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

I have been amazed over the past few weeks at how many of my clients who have started on Bion, have cleared up their acne. This stuff produces results, and clients are happy.

As an Aesthetician, one of the most common problems and complaints I hear about is acne. No one likes to have break outs; it’s hard on the self esteem. When you find a product that performs and can resolve 90% of the acne cases you see, well, you love it. It’s all about picking the right mix of products for the type of acne you have.

It can be helpful if you can figure out when the break outs started. Did you change anything in your daily routine? Come off BCP or go on them? Did you change cleansers or make up, start using a new face cream or primer? People with all types of skin can have acne, but they’re not all going to want the same treatment. Do you have oily or sensitive skin, or do you have a lot of dryness with your acne? All these factors play into determining the best skin care routine for you. Bion is working wonders for many of my clients. It may do the same for you. It’s important to get on the right product for you and to BE COMPLIANT. Compliance is going to be key for achieving results with any skin care regimen, especially when you’re dealing with acne. But, hey, you’re worth it!

This is definitely my happy product of the week. If you’ve got questions about Bion, just ask. You can reach me at customerservice@beautygonegreen.com. Sigrid
